The Collection

Space-time might be made of subatomic loops, or it might just be a stage for matter. Here, the textures of three competing theories of space-time take shape.

Causal Sets

Asset 10.png

Space, time, and matter bloom as events, following a cause and effect pattern. Geometric perspectives and vivid designs make for bold statements, while tree-like structures emphasize one point cascading into a number of possibilities.

Ancestral Jumpsuit

Events unfold as a sort of family tree, with time traveling down the suit. Your Ancestral Jumpsuit pattern would look different than anyone else's.

Causet Jumpsuit

We can only trace some of the green events back to others because this outfit assumes a partial ordering pattern.

String Theory

Asset 11.png

Matter is made of tiny, vibrating strings independent of time and space. Traditional forms and prominent textures celebrate the music and motion of a String Theory universe, where symmetry is an ongoing pursuit, and dimensions extend beyond four.

Vibrational Tracksuit

The style is a nod to String Theory's popularity in the 90s. The top visualizes fundamental particle interactions in three dimensions. The pants and sleeves are made up of stringy material that moves with your forces.

Supersymmetric (SUSY) Dress

SUSY is a traditional dress form that uses embroidery to emphasize particles that have been found and the outlines of their yet-to-be-discovered partners, with a supersymmetric background for added effect.

Loop Quantum Gravity

Asset 12.png

A modern yet elegant approach where space-time exists as subatomic loops along with everything else, forming sheets that play back in your reality like frames of a movie. Each fiber only exists through its relationship to others, forming intricate networks. Flexible layers of loop textiles move together to create a lively composition.

Planck Tank and Spin Foam Skirt

The texture of the Planck Tank refers to space-time existing in discrete pieces, not a continuum. The skirt is the result of Loop Quantum Gravity's superimposed loops. There are holes where there is no space and no time. The layers show how space changes with time, creating a foamy texture that bends to your lifestyle.

Spin Network Sweater and Pants

The Spin Network Sweater and Pants showcase a spin network, which is a snapshot of relations in space at a given time. The prominent texture of the spin network on the sweater demonstrates how LQG is a background-independent theory.

Defining the Look

How does a person embody the cause and effect relationship of Causal Sets, or the connected nature of Loop Quantum Gravity?
